Over the last 30 days, supporters of Mike Brasovan have responded to the call and hundreds of dollars have poured in along with more in pledges! Help add to this here!

· Polling
· Literature
· And much more...
The incumbent has a huge war chest! She's made lots of friends in her 13 years in office.
The problem is she hasn't acted like a leader or a conservative. She's NEVER stepped up to lead. She's sponsored very little legislation and had only ONE of her bills passed!
She has helped pass legislation loaded with MILLIONS and MILLIONS in pork-barrel spending. She tries to defend these earmarks by claiming that they help Fort Worth (forgetting about the rest of the district).
What she fails to mention is that when she gets her earmarks, everyone else is getting them too and YOU pay for them!
Wasteful projects like:
1. $30,000 for the Woodstock Film Festival Youth Initiative.
2. $750,000 for building exhibits in World Food Prize Hall of Laureates in Iowa.
3. Over $300,000 to the Gay Men's Health Crisis - an organization that tells is supporters how to safely inject themselves with Crystal Meth.
4. A mega-shopping mall complete with 10 Broadway-style theaters, an indoor river, a Tuscan village and a 39-story luxury hotel sheathed in green solar panels shaped like giant blades of grass.
According to OpenSecrets.org Kay Granger is ranked 50th out of 435 in total earmarks requested in 2009. Do you really think she's going to change now?
Of course she IS trying to paint herself as a conservative. She recently joined the Republican Study Committee - a group that is supposed to be socially and fiscally conservative. They approved her membership - in spite of her reckless spending history and even though she has declared she is a PRO-CHOICE Republican!
Here's another not so conservative organization that she is also a member of and endorsed by -- The WISH LIST. Their mission? They "RAISE FUNDSto identify, support and elect pro-choice Republican women at all levels of government."
AND she is on their Advisory Board! They have HUGE resources that we can only beat with YOUR help!
I thought real conservatives were PRO-LIFE and fiscally responsible? Apparently even the Republican Study Committee has lost its way!
