Brasovan Signs No Climate Tax Pledge January 2010 Brasovan in the News... Recently, Mike signed the No Climate Tax Pledge promoted by Americans for Prosperity. Although we must be good stewards of our environment, legislation that leads to taxing the American people because of climate change is not the answer. That legislation, referred to as cap and trade, will not clean up pollution. Mike has worked in the energy industry for over 15 years and knows taxation will stifle the ability of American energy companies to successfully research and develop cleaner and cheaper forms of energy.   Get Involved... Phone Bank Volunteers - to call members of District 12 letting them know about Mike's campaign and about the March 2 Primary. Mail Room/basic office help - to help with mailouts (i.e. stuffing envelopes) and basic office needs. Door Knockers - Spending a few hours door knocking on Saturdays has been one of the most effective ways to share Mike's campaign with Republican primary voters in the district. We need drivers, talkers to share about Mike, and walkers to go to the door with the talker. With just over 50 days until the election, the more volunteers we have the more voters we reach.
