The White House has No Technical Skill

Amazingly the White House is lacking in the skill necessary to make sure it's own "Contact Us" page has an up to date certificate. When I go to http://www.whitehouse.gov and click on "Contact Us" I get this:

Sad isn't it?  Or maybe it's just me? Maybe they are tracking my IP address and know that I intend to tell the White House something they don't want to hear - the TRUTH!

On the other hand - it is true - everything about the current White House is untrusted...

Merry Christmas!

  1. Not sure where your link was, but I clicked on Contact Us, and I got this page.
    http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact

Your page that you screen shotted, was for https://correspondence2.whitehouse.gov

It looks like it redirects to another site which is not a whitehouse.gov site, which is why it is showing 'not trusted'.. Basically... When you have a secure site, you register it with a domain name. If it points to another site http://www.symplicity.com/404.php but that site is not the domain of the first, you will get an untrusted.

My guess is that simplicity.com is hosting servers, or services, and something was removed, so you are now getting that message.

  2. That's what was so weird Chris. I was on whitehouse.gov. I clicked on Contact Us and got sent to that site above. I guess they've fixed it now.
